Tanzania Smart Life Company  is a Tanzanian registered company (Registration No 518334) dealing with recycling of  waste materials into alternative charcoal, thus reducing waste pollution caused by improper waste disposal and deforestation accelerated by fuel production for cooking and household energy.

Many cities in Tanzania such as Manyara have experienced high and longtime hot seasons from 2020 due to deforestation and improper waste management, and this project will provide an alternative to the current use of wood or charcoal.

We are dedicated to provide solutions for communities in Manyara that depend on wood and charcoal as their primary source of fuel.

Thanks to the nature of the project, there will be multiple opportunities for local entrepreneurship and for women’s participation in the value chain, thus yielding direct economic benefits over and above those of cleaner air and increased access to fuel sources.
